Look Nice at a NICE PRICE: VILLAGE OF SILENCE

EL PUEBLO DEL SILENCIO

El segundo día de nuestra escapada no fue exactamente como lo habíamos planeado ya que el tiempo dio un giro radical. Así que en vez de disfrutar de una mañana de relax en la maravillosa piscina del hotel, ubicada justo en medio de la naturaleza, tuvimos que improvisar y decidimos visitar el pequeño pueblo de Prades. Como hacía bastante frio me tuve que apañar con las prendas que había traído en la maleta “por si acaso” así que el look que os enseñaré hoy no tiene nada de especial… Y como no, después de media hora de paseo, volvió a salir el sol y acabe pasando un calor horroroso.

Pero al final el plan improvisado resulto muy acertado ya que tuvimos la oportunidad de conocer un pueblo idílico, sumergido en un silencio casi hipnótico, donde sólo nos cruzamos con un gatito perezoso y una abuelita que hizo que nos sintiéramos como auténticos lugareños, con un muy caluroso “Buenos días!”

The second day of our trip didn´t go exactly according to plan because of a radical shift in the weather. Therefore, instead of enjoying a relaxing morning besides the hotel’s incredible swimming pool, ideally situated right in the midst of nature, we had to come up with a new plan, so we decided to visit Prades village.

As it was really cold I had to pull off an outfit with the stuff I had brought in my baggage “just in case”, so the look I´m showing you today is nothing out of the ordinary… And of course, after a half hour walk, the sun came back up so I ended up being uncomfortably hot.

However the improvised plan turned out just right as we had the chance to get to know an idyllic village, immersed in a sort of hypnotic silence, were the only souls we encountered were a lazy cat and an old lady, who managed to make us feel like we belonged there, welcoming us with a warm “Good morning!”
