FLOWER POWER

Hace unos días mi chico me dijo que se le había ocurrido el sitio perfecto para una sesión de fotos. Me ha sorprendido mucho su iniciativa porque normalmente tengo que insistir bastante en que salgamos a buscar sitios nuevos para las fotos, pero esta vez se le veía con ganas, por lo que pude intuir que el sitio debía de valer la pena. Así que cámara en manos, subimos al coche y después de un corto viaje llegamos a un precioso campo de flores. No podía estar más contenta: mi chico había acertado plenamente y el look que yo había escogido, sin saber a dónde íbamos, encajaba perfectamente. Hasta aquí todo perfecto.

Some days ago, my husband told me that he had found the perfect spot for our next photo shooting. It really caught me by surprise as he is usually rather reluctant to searching for new settings for our sessions, but this time it was obvious he was excited therefore I figured the location must really be worth it.  So, camera in hand, we got into our car and after a short drive we reached our destination: a wonderful field of flowers. I was thrilled with my husband’s election and happy to discover that the outfit that I had chosen, without even knowing where we were going, was just perfect for this set. So far so good...

DULCEIDA @ YELLOW SHOP

Hola chic@as! Espero que hayáis disfrutado muchísimo de las fiestas! 

Hace un par de semanas os contaba que tuve la oportunidad de asistir al evento organizado por YELLOW SHOP en el que pinchaba DULCEIDA, y hoy os traigo algunas de las fotos de ese día. Fue un evento súper divertido dedicado a la música, la moda y sobre todo al amor incondicional a los zapatos :) La tienda de Yellow Shop fue sin duda el escenario idóneo ya que es el sitio donde siempre podrás encontrar las últimas tendencias y los modelos más alucinantes de las mejores marcas. Lo pasé genial, pude saludar a Aida y conocer parte de su equipo, los chicos de THE TRIPLETZ, y la verdad es que son gente estupenda que enamoran con su energía y buen rollo. Hice un montón de fotos y cuando pensaba que la cosa no podía ir a mejor, me entero de que había ganado unas Converse!!! Vamos, que el día me ha salido redondo!!!

Hi guys! I hope you made the best of these holidays! 

A couple of weeks ago I was telling you that I had the chance to attend the event organized by YELLOW SHOP where DULCEIDA was DJing and in this post I´ll be showing you some of the photos I took that day. It was a really fun event, dedicated to music, fashion and above all to the unconditional love for shoes. Yellow Shop store was without doubt the perfect set for such an event as it is the place where you can always find the latest trends and most fascinating models from widely recognized brands. I had a great time, got to say hi to Aida and met part of her team, the guys from THE TRIPLETZ,  and I have to say they are all incredible people who easily win your heart with their energy and good vibes. I took a lot of pics and when I thought the night just couldn´t get any better, I found out that I had wan a pair of Converse sneakers!!! All in all, it was a great day!!!

IN LOVE WITH VIENNA

Marzo ya se está acabando y la verdad es que me ha parecido que ha pasado en un abrir y cerrar de ojos. Los que me seguís por la redes sociales sabréis que después de Milán, hice otra escapadita a Viena y os puedo decir que esta ciudad me ha enamorado por completo. Fue un viaje distinto del anterior, porque está vez iba a ver a una de mis mejores amigas, que vive allí desde hace unos meses, y nos quedamos en su casa por unos días. No hemos tenido mucha suerte con el tiempo porque hizo mucho mucho frío, hasta tuvimos un tipo de lluvia que parecía nieve y que nos impidió sacar la cámara tanto como nos hubiera gustado. Aun así hemos disfrutado muchísimo y los recuerdos de esos días se quedan grabados en la memoria. Definitivamente volveré, para poder ver las cosas con más calma y disfrutar de la ciudad a cámara lenta, pero hasta entonces me quedo con estas imágenes.

March is almost over and for me it seems like it flew away in the blink of an eye. Those who follow me on other social networking sites, have probably seen that after Milan I took another trip and this time the destination was Vienna, a city that definitively stole my heart. It was a different kind of trip as this time I was going to see one of my best friends, who has been living there for a few months and she warmly accommodated us in her new home during a couple of days. We weren´t that lucky with the weather though as we had really low temperatures and even a kind of rain that seemed to turn into snow. This made it impossible for us to take as many pictures as we would have liked to, but still we managed to have lots of fun and the images of these days remain printed in our memories. I will definitively go back to get the chance to enjoy the city on slow motion but until then I have these images to remind me of it.

Nuevo día y nuevo post! Los que me seguís en Facebook posiblemente reconoceréis el outfit que os voy a enseñar hoy de una foto que colgué el último día en Madrid. Como me tocó hacer este viaje sola, no he podido improvisar ninguna sesión de fotos así que la mayoría de mis recuerdos vienen en forma de selfie.  Pero a la vuelta tenía a mi fotógrafo de guardia esperando y además con mi bonita ciudad envuelta en las suaves caricias del otoño, no podía perder la oportunidad... 

New day and new post! Those who follow me on Facebook may recognize the outfit I’m showing you today from a picture I posted my last day in Madrid. I had to take this trip alone therefore I couldn´t improvise any photo shooting so most of my memories from this journey come in the form of selfies. But when I got back home I found my on-call photographer waiting at the train station and my beautyful city wrapped up in autumn´s soft touches, so I couldn´t waste this opportunity…

EL CAMINO y EL VIAJERO

En general verano es sinónimo de playa y sol. Sólo hay que poner la palabra en la búsqueda de Google y la pantalla se os llenará de imágenes de blancas arenas, aguas cristalinas y sombrillas coloridas… Pero aunque una escapada a la playa es el plan perfecto para un día cálido de verano, muchas veces prefiero cambiar la arena caliente y el azul del mar por el olor a hierba impregnada de rocío y el aire fresco de la montaña. Y es exactamente así como pasé parte de mi fin de semana largo.

Usually summer stands for sunny weather and beach trips. You just have to try google the word and the screen of your computer will instantly be overflowed with images of white sand shorelines, crystal clear water and colorful sunshades. But even though a day on the beach can be the perfect getaway for those warm summer days, many times I prefer changing the hot sand and the translucent blue of the sea for the dew scented grass and fresh mountain air. And this is exactly how I spent part of my long holiday weekend.
