OPEN BACK DRESS

Aquí está la última propuesta para la temporada de eventos. Se trata de un vestido que en la parte de delante tiene un corte muy clásico, pero que se ve contrarrestado por la espalda abierta, que le da un toque único y bastante más atrevido. El color, aunque no se aprecia muy bien en las fotos, es un lila suave, un tono muy bonito que va muy bien para un evento de tarde. Pero atentas, si tenéis que acudir a una ceremonia religiosa, el chal es un complemento que no os puede faltar, ya que es imprescindible cubriros la espalda cuando el protocolo lo requiere.

My last proposal for this celebracions´ season is a dress that appears to be a classical one from the front but that has an open back that gives it a special and rather daring touch. Although in the photos you cannot really tell, the color is a soft purple, that goes perfectly for an afternoon event, However, if you have to attend a religious ceremony, the shawl is your most important allied as it is essential to cover your shoulders and back according to the protocol.

SOFT SHADES

Buenos días chic@s! Seguimos con la temática de celebraciones y mi segunda propuesta es un vestido de estampado floral. Aunque se trate de un vestido corto, el diseño más recatado de la parte superior y los tonos suaves hacen que sea perfecto para un evento de día.  

Good morning guys! We go on with the celebrations` theme and my second proposal is a flower patterned dress. Even though we're talking about a short dress, the demure design of upper part and the soft tones make it perfect for a daytime event.

WEEKEND MOOD

Ya está aquí el fin de semana!!! Para mi esto quiere decir que durante los próximos dos días no me voy a separar de mis zapatillas Converse y los moños descuidados. El otro ingrediente para disfrutar de un finde perfecto son los pensamientos y mensajes positivos así que no hay mejor forma de hacer esto que llevarlo en tu ropa o accesorios. Yo lo hice yo con el vestido"LOVE" de Stradivarius y el clutch dorado de Zara. Disfrutad muchísimo de estos días chic@s!

Weekend is finally here!!! For me this means that during the next couple of days I will be wearing my Converse sneakers and messy updo most of the time. The other ingredient necessary in order to enjoy the perfect weekend is to surround yourself with positive thinking and motivational messages and there is no better way to do this than by wearing it on your clothes or accessories. I did so by wearing the "LOVE" dress from Stradivarius and the soft gold clutch from Zara. Hope you guys enjoy the weekend!

IN LOVE WITH VIENNA

Marzo ya se está acabando y la verdad es que me ha parecido que ha pasado en un abrir y cerrar de ojos. Los que me seguís por la redes sociales sabréis que después de Milán, hice otra escapadita a Viena y os puedo decir que esta ciudad me ha enamorado por completo. Fue un viaje distinto del anterior, porque está vez iba a ver a una de mis mejores amigas, que vive allí desde hace unos meses, y nos quedamos en su casa por unos días. No hemos tenido mucha suerte con el tiempo porque hizo mucho mucho frío, hasta tuvimos un tipo de lluvia que parecía nieve y que nos impidió sacar la cámara tanto como nos hubiera gustado. Aun así hemos disfrutado muchísimo y los recuerdos de esos días se quedan grabados en la memoria. Definitivamente volveré, para poder ver las cosas con más calma y disfrutar de la ciudad a cámara lenta, pero hasta entonces me quedo con estas imágenes.

March is almost over and for me it seems like it flew away in the blink of an eye. Those who follow me on other social networking sites, have probably seen that after Milan I took another trip and this time the destination was Vienna, a city that definitively stole my heart. It was a different kind of trip as this time I was going to see one of my best friends, who has been living there for a few months and she warmly accommodated us in her new home during a couple of days. We weren´t that lucky with the weather though as we had really low temperatures and even a kind of rain that seemed to turn into snow. This made it impossible for us to take as many pictures as we would have liked to, but still we managed to have lots of fun and the images of these days remain printed in our memories. I will definitively go back to get the chance to enjoy the city on slow motion but until then I have these images to remind me of it.

TRAVEL DIARY: MILÁN (DAY 1)

Hola chicos! Que tal todo? Yo estos últimos fines de semana he tenido la suerte de poder conocer dos ciudades nuevas y añadir un par de hojas más a mí álbum de recuerdos inolvidables. Pasé un fin de semana en Milán y aunque fue un viaje exprés intente sacar lo mejor del poquito tiempo que estuvimos en la ciudad. He disfrutado muchísimo paseando por las calles del barrio más de moda de Europa y admirando las impresionantes vistas del Duomo. Y por la noche no hay mejor plan que ir a dar una vuelta por el bario Navigli y tomar el típico y famoso aperitivo milanés que consta básicamente de pedir un cóctel durante la happy hour y poder comer gratis durante el resto de la noche. El ambiente era fenomenal y a pesar de estar súper cansados lo pasamos genial.

Hi guys! How's it going! I was able to enjoy great weekends lately as I had the opportunity to discover two new cities and add a few more pages to my album of unforgettable moments. I spent one weekend in Milan and even though it was a really short trip I managed to get the most of the days we were there, I had a great time walking through the streets of the most famous fashion quarter in Europe and admiring the impressive views of El Duomo. At night there's no better plan than going for a stroll through the Navigli district and have the typical Milanese aperitif that basically consists in ordering a cocktail during hapy hour and afterwards being able to enjoy free all you can eat buffet. The atmosphere was just great and although we were really tired we had an amazing time.

HERE COMES THE SUN

Hoy os voy a escribir muy poco porque dentro de un par de horas me voy al aeropuerto y desde allí rumbo a Viena a visitar a una de mis mejores amigas. Me encanta que el sol se deje ver tanto últimamente y las fotos que os voy a enseñar son precisamente de un día increíblemente soleado. Para mi, la sensación de poder desprenderse de algunas capas de ropa y escoger en cambio telas más frescas y livianas, es lo mejor de la llegada del buen tiempo. A disfrutar, que ya llega el finde!

  

Today's post will be a very short one, because within just a couple of hours I will be flying to Vienna to visit one of my best friends, I love that lately the sun is showing its face a lot more and the photos I will be showing you today were taken on a really nice sunny day. For me, being able to lose a few layers of clothing and replace them with lighter fabrics is the best feeling ever. Weekend is almost here, so just enjoy!

VESPA LOVE

Hola chic@s! Lo sé, lo sé...he estado desaparecida un par de semanas. Es que últimamente ando bastante mal de fotógrafo puesto que que mis horarios no coinciden nada con los de mi chico, así que me ha resultado imposible actualizar, espero que no me lo tengáis en cuenta :) Pero ya tengo un par  de sesiones preparadas y algunos nuevos proyectos de los que os voy a hablar más adelante. 

Hi guys! I know, I know...the last couple of weeks I`ve been sort of absent. It`s just that lately it has been impossible for me to organize photo sessions as my husband/photographer and I have very different working schedules and we just couldn´t coordinate, I hope you won´t take it into consideration J  However I have fresh stuff prepared and some new projects in sight, but I will tell you all about this further on.

BLACK&WHITE

BLANCO&NEGRO

El post de hoy es monocromático y al mismo tiempo de contrastes. He optado por una combinación de colores clásica, el blanco y el negro, pero con prendas bastante contradictorias tanto en apariencia cómo en esencia. Por ejemplo, el mensaje del gorro dice una cosa pero los jeans cuentan una historia completamente distinta.  De la misma manera, los botines, el abrigo y el bolso tienen un aire bastante formal que se ve contrarrestado por los rotos de los tejanos y el toque más que casual aportado por el gorro. El resultado final me parece bastante divertido, vosotr@s qué opináis?

Today´s post is a monochromatic one and at the same time a mosaic of contrasts. I opted for the classical color combination, black and white, but with items that are contradictory both in appearance as in essence. For example the hat´s message says one thing, while the jeans tell a completely different story. In the same way, the booties, coat and bag have a more formal aspect that is counteracted by the more than casual touch of the hat and the ripped jeans. I find the final result to be so fun, what do you think?

WORK&FUN

Se me ha pasado la semana volando, no me puedo creer que mañana ya es viernes! Todavía queda un día de trabajo y luego a disfrutar del finde! Hoy os traigo un look ideal para un viernes, ya que sirve tanto para ir a trabajar, como para salir a cenar o quedar con los amigos al final del día.

This week passed by in a glimpse and I can´t believe tomorrow is already Friday! There is still one more working day to go and after that all we have to do is enjoy the weekend! Today´s look is just perfect for a Friday as it is great for the office but also works for going out for dinner or just to meet up with friends at the end of the day.

SAY WHAAAAT?

No estoy preparada para el lunes :(((( ¡Necesitaría un día más entre el sábado y el domingo! En el post de hoy os enseño una prenda que se ha convertido en mi más reciente obsesión: la sudadera con mensaje. 

I´m not ready for Monday yet :(((( I need a day in between Saturday and Sunday! In today's post I´m showing you an item that I can definitely call my latest fashion obsession: the message sweatshirt.

COMFY CASUAL (OUTFIT 1)

La otra cara de estos días festivos, un poco menos glamurosa pero con su magia particular, surge a la superficie cuando se acaban las cenas y los eventos. Me refiero a esas mañanas de los días festivos, cuando la mayoría de las calles están casi desiertas y sólo sales de casa para tomar un café calentito en la cafetería de barrio, o para comprar churros con chocolate. Y cuando se trata de días tan fríos como los que hemos tenido últimamente, las prendas cómodas y sobre todo calentitas son  uno de los ingredientes clave para mis looks. Os voy a enseñar dos outfits  súper cómodos que he creado partiendo de la misma base: perfecto de imitación de cuero y mis nuevas zapatillas de Sixtyseven, que enamoran tanto por su diseño cómo por su increíble precio. The other aspect of the holiday season, less glamourous but with its own particular magic, comes to the surface when dinners and all other events are over. I´m talking about those holidays` lazy mornings, when most of the streets seem deserted and you only leave the comfort of your home in order to get a hot coffee in the neighborhood cafeteria or to buy churros with hot chocolate. And due to the fact that these last few days have been really really cold, the cozy warm pieces became one of the basic ingredients for my looks. I´ll show you two super comfy outfits that I created parting from the same base: artificial leather jacket and my new Sixtyseven sneakers that I am absolutely in love with. I leave you with the first option.

LBD

Estamos en la recta final de las fiestas navideñas y estas siguientes semanas estarán marcadas por cenas con los más queridos, encuentros con amigos y muchos momentos de alegría. Mi propuesta para las celebraciones de estas fechas viene en forma del clásico vestido negro, la prenda que nuca falla. Y para aportar al look ese toque divertido que lo saca del anonimato, lo he combinado con unas medias de topitos, un collar de diseño geométrico y el mini bolso en azul klein.

We are now in the final stretch of the holiday season and these next couple of weeks will definitely be marked by dinners with or loved ones, get-togethers with friends and lots of happy moments. My proposition for this period's celebrations comes in the form of the classical little black dress, the garment that never fails. And it order to give this look a fun touch, I combined it with polka dots stockings, a necklace with a geometric design and the klein blue mini bag.

ALGO PRESTADO

Seguramente que a much@s os ha pasado alguna vez al abrir el armario, aunque esté a rebosar de prendas, tener la sensación de no encontrar nada para ponerse… Pues este sábado, después de estar un rato mirando dentro de mi armario, he decidido ir más allá… en este caso dos pasos más allá…  e intentar con el armario de mi chico… He encontrado esta camisa de cuadros, una prenda que últimamente está marcando tendencia y que además tiene justo ese aspecto desenfadado que tanto me gusta. Aquí tenéis mi look para un sábado de shopping. 

I’m sure many of you have experienced the feeling of standing in front of your wardrobe, crammed with clothes, and think that you have nothing to wear. Well this Saturday, after staring at mi closet for a while, I decided to take one step forward… actually it was two steps… till I got to my husband’s wardrobe… I found this check tartan shirt, an item we've seen become increasingly trendy in the last few months, that also has the informal/relaxed appeal that I was going for. Here is my look for a Saturday shopping session.

ISLA BONITA

Aunque acabo de volver de Madrid, todavía me quedan algunos recuerdos que compartir con vosotros de mi viaje a Lanzarote y por lo tanto de momento me quedaré con las ganas de compartir las fotos del desfile, e intentaré seguir el orden lineal de los eventos.

Although I just came back from Madrid, I still have some memories from Lanzarote that I would like to share with you, so for now I will hold my breath and save the photos from the street fashion show for later, as I will try to stick to the chronological line of the events.

Estos últimos meses han sido una época de idas y vueltas, tanto en mí día a día, como en mi pequeño mundo blogger. He podido disfrutar de la compañía de viejos amigos, viajes inolvidables, fines de semana de sol y amor… ha sido un verano increíble, pero es la hora de abrirle las puertas al otoño y permitirle que nos sorprenda. 

A partir de ahora volveré a mi ritmo normal y voy a estar más pendiente del blog, actualizando dos veces a la semana, como antes. En mis próximos artículos os voy a hacer un pequeño resumen de mi último viaje y voy a empezar desde el principio, con una sesión de fotos exprés en el aeropuerto. 

These last few months have been a period marked by comings and goings, both in my personal life as in my petite blogger world. I had the opportunity to enjoy the company of old friends, amazing journeys, sunny weekends full of love…it has been an incredible summer, but it is now time to open the doors an let autumn in, allowing it to surprise us. 

From now on I have to get back on track, return to my normal routine and also stay more tuned to my blog, posting two days a week, as I did before. In my next posts I will try to do a brief overview of my last trip and I will start right from the beginning, with an express photo session at the airport.

UN PEDACITO DEL PARAÍSO

Por fin he encontrado un momentito para actualizar el blog! He tenido unos días bastante ajetreados en la oficina y una vez en casa sólo quería desconectar y recargar las pilas para poder empezar de nuevo el día siguiente. Las fotos que os voy a enseñar hoy son del último fin de semana de agosto, de un lugar que realmente me ha fascinado: Tossa de Mar. Me hubiera gustado contaros un poco más sobre mi corta visita a este encantador pueblo costero, pero la verdad es que las fotos hablan por sí solas.

At last, I managed to find a moment to update the blog! I´ve had some really busy days at the office and once I got home the only thing I wanted was to disconnect and regain strengths, in order to start fresh the next day. The photos I will show you today were taken during the last weekend of August, in a place that truly bedazzled me: Tossa de Mar. I would have liked to tell you more about my short visit to this enchanting seaside village, but after all, the pictures speak for themselves.

I HEART RETRO

Me encanta todo lo retro! Así que para el outfit de hoy he decidido combinar elementos de distintos periodos como el pañuelo de topos al estilo pin up y los stilettos rojos de los años 50, con unos tejanos lavado acido que se han puesto de moda en los 80, todo combinado con una camiseta con mensaje que le da al look un toque más actual.

I love all things retro! Therefore, for today´s outfit I decided to put together elements from different periods, such as the pin up dotted bandana and red stilettos inpired from the 50´s fashion, with acid wash jeans that became popular in the 80´s, all combined with a message t-shirt that gives the look a more actual touch.

ETHNIC MOOD

INSPIRACIÓN ÉTNICA

La tendencia étnica lleva ya un tiempo en las pasarelas y este verano hay que sacarla a la calle. Mi forma de hacerlo es combinando un vestido blanco con unas sandalias coloridas y un bolso hecho totalmente a mano, que unos amigos me han traído de Perú.

The ethnic trend can be seen on the runways for quite a while now and this summer we should take it out to the street. I have chosen to do so by combining a white dress with colorful sandals and a handmade bag that some friends brought back as a souvenir from Perú.

WEEK + END = WEEKEND

Buenas noticias: mañana es VIERNES!!! Esto quiere decir que ya nos tendríamos que ir preparando para el fin de semana. Os dejo con un look que de hecho llevé el fin de semana pasado, para salir a cenar con mis amigos. Adoro la falda y aunque estoy consciente de que le sentaría mucho mejor a una persona un poco más alta, me gusta bastante como queda con esa camiseta tan informal.

Good news: tomorrow is FRIDAY!!! This means we should be getting ready for the weekend. I leave you with a look I actually wore last weekend, when I went out for dinner with my friends. I love the skirt and even though I realize that it would have looked much better on someone a little taller, I am really happy with how it combines with the informal t-shirt.

Hoy he decidido inaugurar una nueva sección en mi blog.  Seguramente a vosotras también os ha pasado descubrir, mientras hojeabais alguna revista o simplemente viendo la tele, a alguna famosa con un outfit estupendo pero cuyo precio muchas veces nos resulta inaccesible… Pues en el artículo de hoy os quiero enseñar que es muy fácil encontrar el “mellizo a mejor precio” de tu look preferido y que es posible vestir como las celebridades, sin gastarte una fortuna. 

Today I decided to start a new section on my blog. I´m sure many of you have experienced the feeling of discovering, while reading a magazine or simply watching TV, a celebrity outfit that you absolutely love, but realize that its price is clearly out of your league… Well in this post I would like to show you how easy it is to find the “nice price twin” for your favorite look, and that you can dress very similar to how famous people do, without spending a fortune.
